almost certain this might be able to be done already but just thought I would see what anyone thought.
In a file, have a script that will produce a backup of itself in a folder need with a session Id
Run and test some code to check that everything works
Run another script to trigger closing the file and then restoring immediately from the backup…
You could run a test import which created records which auto-created serial numbers
but then i you don’t want to keep that data, but now do the import for real but dont want missing serial numbers…
