Change Otto Server folder location

Hi, My OTTO seems to have picked up a the wrong path for the deploy operations and I really need to change it, It has picked up one of my backup paths (but one that uses a non local drive) and not the default FileMaker server folder. (as in the default directories in FMS etc).

Is there a way to set this in Otto to go to a different directory?
The 2 folders its creating in the wrong place are:
OttoFMS_Temp_Backups
OttoFMS

Welcome to the community.

OttoFMS uses the default backup location for the folders you mentioned. What do you have your default location set to? Can you change it to point to the one inside FileMaker server folder?

Hi, that’s the thing. My default folders have never been changed and are all pointing to the FileMaker folder.
One of my backup scripts does go to the same location that Otto has picked up.
Can it be changed at this point?

Could you give us a little more information about your setup? I’m particularly interested in the configuration in your admin console for the default backup folder and also the path where the auto files are actually being created. Both of those things would be helpful for us to figure out what might be going on.

HI, well I was able to resolve the issue by simply removing Otto and reinstalling.
so, it leaves me with the possibility that the path in FileMaker Server (default backup path) has been changed since otto was installed. Its a possibility as its an on-prem dev server that has been tinkered with.
So issue is resolved… thanks.
