Deployment Build Fails with EBUSY on dbs_config.xml

I went to run a deployment today, and it failed with the following error during the build process.

Build server error: failed - clone failed: [DBNAMEHERE].fmp12. Error: Error getting database info: Error: EBUSY: resource busy or locked, open ‘C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Server\Data\Preferences\dbs_config.xml’

Running
FM Server Version 21.0.2.202
OttoFMS 4.7.0
Windows 2022 Standard

Is this the first deployment you ran since your upgraded to 21.0.2?

This was the first deployment after installing 4.7.0, the server was updated to 21.0.2 a while ago.

Restart of the entire server seems to have resolved it.

Hey Daniel,

Thanks for the report. We’ve heard this one once or twice from users running FMS 21. I’ll be putting in some protections against this error that should make it significantly less likely (right now we’ve only seen it on 4 servers). Those should come out in our next version of OttoFMS if all goes well. Thanks!
