Deployment Fails At Same Point

I have 16 servers that I’m pushing 17 files to.

I’m down to the last server. However, it’s failing at 239mb of 272mb every single time

I have rebooted the Source server, I have uninstalled both FileMaker Server and OttoFMS on the destination server. I have even wiped out the /top/OttoFMS and /backups/OttoFMS directories and made it start from scratch.

The /backup location has plenty of space, but every single time, on the same server, it crashes at the exact same point.

Anyone have any ideas?

Is this when it is downloading the files?

If yes, try moving the files over there manually. put them inbox and then run it again.

Or did you try flipping it from a Push to a Pull or vice versa?

So I dump the clones or just the build zip file?

  1. Run a Build,
  2. download it,
  3. move the zip manually to the inbox on the other server,
  4. Run your deployment.

OttoFMS will notice that the Build is already in the inbox and not bother with the fetch.

You can set the deployment source to “Build Inbox” in OttoDeploy to make sure it grabs the build from the right place. I would also try using a push for the build fetching, you can find the toggle for that in the Build options in OttoDeploy.

Ok, I put the zip file in the Inbox, and pushed it again, but it didn’t pick it up. However, when I did it again an used it worked just fine.
