At the FileMaker Conference 2024 in Malbun, we were introduced to the FileMaker migration tool “OttoFMS,” and we are very interested in it.

Since we, as a university hospital, work with patient-related data, we have the issue that, for data protection reasons, our FileMaker servers operate in a “closed environment.” Therefore, “OttoFMS” is not permitted to connect to an external license server in our case.

Is there an alternative solution?

Hey Frank,

Send us an email at support@proofgeist.com with your server ID (a long string of numbers and letters that you can find on the license page or in the admin console). We can generate an offline activation key that should let you use OttoFMS without calling out to our license server.
