Failed to Start OttoFMS

Currently running Server 2025
Brand New Server
Fresh Install of Claris FileMaker
Patched Windows Server
Net Framework 8 installed
Cert loaded in FileMaker non self-signed

Each time I try to install Otto I get an error

Failed to start Otto FMS service exit code 1 aborting installation.

Hey @JustanotherITguy ,

Does this fail if you install OttoFMS 4.16.2 instead of 4.17.0? We changed some things about the installer in 4.17.0 which could cause an issue.

There may also be more details on the error in the stderr.log or the otto-info.log in the OttoFMS Application directory. They will have the error message that is causing the service to fail to start. Having that will make fixing this possible.

Thanks for responding, i ended up rolling back to server 2022 instead of 2025 and I didnt have any issues.
