Would it be possible to ignore lost+found directories on Linux? We recently had a deployment fail due to OttoFMS not being able to read the lost+found directory?
The server we’re running is configured with Ubuntu 22 and an external disk mounted at /opt/FileMaker/FileMaker Server/Data/Databases, this results in the lost+found directory being located there. The deployment is configured such that the source and target files are both located on the same server (with different names).
Cheers
James
Hi James,
hmmm. We will look into it. I can see why you might want to configure your drives the way you did. But I want to check with our team before deciding on what to do.
Thanks

Hey James,
We will try to account for this in the future. This comes up in a couple of other cases as well.
But I talked with our hosting team and they don’t recommend mounting the root of a drive to /opt/FileMaker/FileMaker Server/Data/Databases
. Even if we handle this case better, they recommend mounting a subfolder of the drive to that location instead.
Hope that helps
Todd
