Hello - I read the requirements carefully and installed Otto on two different Mac servers (with FQDN/SSL Certs) and both failed.
The terminal breadcrumbs did not yield any clues, so I also tried starting the service via Terminal, rebooting, and a manual installation (downloading/executing the installer).
I also noticed that when checking Full Disk Access permissions that Otto does not appear in the list.
I will upload the terminal session from the install and some screenshots in case that helps.
macOS 14.7.2 [latest build of Sonoma]
FMS v21.1 [latest]
Also - not sure if Otto is supposed to install a .fmp12 file to be hosted by the server - did not see that in either case.
(only one screenshot allowed, so I chose the terminal session)
Hi Todd - I did look at this before I came to the forum - I do not see OttoFMS or anything similar in the Full Disk Access - see attached. This is the same on both servers (Mac) where I attempted installation
Hi Kyle - Any ideas on how to get Otto installed? I don’t have that many servers with FQDN / SSL Certs, and don’t want to bother production systems with new tools to test.
Sorry for the delay here. Currently we don’t release a build of OttoFMS for Apple Silicon, I would try installing it with the installer directly (rather than using the script install), it might prompt you properly to install the software that will let you run non-apple silicon products on your apple silicon machine.
We have it on the plan to get this working natively with Apple Silicon.
