Installer silently fails

I searched the forum, and someone was having similar issues, but the thread doesn’t resolve:

Initial Actions on MacOS:
Ran the uninstaller and then the installer for 4.11.1

During the uninstall it did mention not being able to uninstall the reverse proxy server.
I restarted the machine before and after running the 4.11.1 installer.
Both the installer, and the binary have full disk access permission
(btw, the binary ends in -x64, but I’m on an M2 Pro chip)

Activity Monitor does not show Otto processes.

sudo launchctl bootstrap system /Library/LaunchDaemon/com.proofgiest.otto.plist
results in Bootstrap failed: 5: Input/output error

sudo launchctl list | grep ottofms shows the service not running with a status of 78

Hi Richard.

We just released an Apple Silicon version a couple of versions back. Before that we had a universal app. Now you need to use the installer for your platform.

You can get it on the version history page.

Give that a shot. Let us know what happens.

It seems likely to be the problem, but I’ll find out right now.
Can we add an appropriate link to the “View Details and Downloads” on “My Account”?

I’ll go get the correct installer and get back to ya.
