Hey, I was trying out your tool fmVibeX. I simply wanted to convert an xml text file inside the chat window in order to copy it to fmxml clipboard. I keep getting an error, I also tried just simple requests but I also keep getting the same error alert.
is the App working at all? Or is it perhaps because I’m using a basic openAi api key?

It is working. your OpenAI API key DOES need to have money attached to it.

I know that Sematic search is supposed to be the ‘coolest’ AI feature in FileMaker; however, I have more conversations about AI genereated scripts and calcs than Sematic search by a factor of ten.
After watching your demo, I feel that we share to excitement to see AI help us with some of the tidious parts are script creation.
I appreciate the time you have put into this project and your continued willingness to share with the community… That being said, I have tested with my MacOS Tahoe and Windows 11 machines, using both the release version of FileMaker Pro and an ETS version. I have not renamed the file, and I have confirmed that I can sucessfully write to the file (privileges). I have also double-checked that the BaseElements plug-in is installed and ‘active’; however, after trying numerous variations, I still get the same error as the user above.
I recorded a quick video to show my OpenAI API Dashboard- it confirms that I have a a ‘positive balance’. I then go make a new API key and which I copy to the clipboard, before jumping into FileMaker and pasting the key. Next, I hit the ‘check’ button and recieve a dialog… Technically, I know that I shouldn’t show my API key in a publically available video; however, I have already deleted that key to prevent ‘unintended’ access, plus it’s on a $5 ‘test’ account- far removed from production work. I feel bad that I am having issues which what should be a simple process, so I wanted to be clear in what I have attempted to prevent wasting more of your time with ‘back and forth’ questions…

update… I used a new OpenAI.com with $5 worth of credit and ‘default’ settings. The default project only had a handful of models enabled by default. Once I added ChatGTP-4 model, it works… Thought I’d share my experiance in case someone else has issues… thx!
