New TopCallStats Analysis tool!

Would be cool to have a ‘Go to Page’ in the log, and maybe also be able to pull in the ‘old’ log. ( yes, I know I can easily solve this latter one using the filters, but sometimes… )

What do you mean by a “Go to Page” in the log? If you mean something like “take this log and analyze it”, I added that a couple days ago. It can only do the primary topcallstats.log, i’ll look at pulling in the rotated versions of the log optionally.

When I’m looking at the TopCallStats Log , full screen, because I need to see entries ( I don’t find the graphs helpful since they aren’t showing enough detail )

Also, I can’t seem to filter by timestamp when in full screen. I can’t click into the ‘From’ or ‘Til’ fields. When I click on them they highlight, but there is no selection option like there is when it’s not full screen.

Another feature request: Allow me to resize the log list and graph sizes. Graph is too large, and the list is too small.

Thank you sir. It’s nice to be able to pop in the XML and have it map. I’m with some others on being able to do this locally on the server, or even locally on my device. Sometimes we just can’t allow data or schema to leave a secured location.

One other feature request, can we select, or at least have a consistent Total Elapsed time format in the log list. Mixing microseconds, milliseconds, and seconds together makes it hard to quickly spot problems.

Example, one’s eye tracks to that 600 number pretty quickly, when it’s the 4 sec that is likely the problem:

  • 600 μs
  • 10 ms
  • 4 sec

Hey y’all,

The TopCallStats tool got some upgrades yesterday! You can now:

  • View Ottomatic monitoring information for Ottomatic servers (within the last 48 hours)
  • Select a server and a log from that server which will show other logs alongside the topcallstats for the time range that you’ve selected
  • Jump around in the top call stats log using the “go to page” dropdown

I’ve also fixed a couple bugs:

  • You can now filter by timestamps in fullscreen mode
  • if you drag your mouse off the edge of the chart, it now selects the time range to filter to more intuitively (no longer just selects all the way to the start or end of the log, selects to the end of the last section of your currently viewed section)
  • The number of data points the log data is split into in the timeline graph has also been optimized a bit so it won’t just show you 1 or 2 data points for times less than 10 minutes.

hypothetically, what would you think about a pro (paid) Ottomatic account that gets you the ability to download and deploy your own self-hosted/on-prem Ottomatic?
