OttoDeploy version 1.3.0 released!

Hey y’all,

OttoDeploy version 1.3.0 was just released! This version contains support for a bunch of the recent features in OttoFMS, including:

  • Publishing a build to Offsite Storage
  • Deploying from a build on offsite storage
  • Deploying from a build in the destination server inbox
  • Custom Close files messages
  • script timeouts

It also added a new setting to automatically open up the OttoFMS console when a deployment starts, so you don’t have to press that pesky button to open up the console. Check out the Changelog for the full list of changes!

Most of the new features of OttoDeploy require OttoFMS 4.6.2 (released today!) so make sure you upgrade your server! The new version of OttoDeploy will continue working with older versions of OttoFMS, but some options will be greyed out.

To upgrade, simply click the “Upgrade Now” button the next time you open up OttoDeploy.

both of my 1.2.6 copies are not seeing the new update, clicked the ‘check for updates’ and nothing newer is found

You’re totally right, looks like part of the upload failed. I’ll get that fixed. Thanks for the report John!

Our appupdates server was having an issue which has now been fixed, you should be able to get the new version now!
