OttoFMS 4.16.0 Released!

Hey y’all,

OttoFMS 4.16.0 was just released! This version includes important security updates, check out the security post for details.

Beyond security fixes, this version also includes a ton of new features, improvements, and bug fixes. Highlights are:

  • File Notes: Have you always wanted to write lil notes for your files so you can keep track? Now you can!!
  • Copying, Cutting, Pasting, Zipping, and Unzipping files from right in the File Browser
  • Set schedule options on offsite schedule creation rather than having to go to the FMS Admin console to finish setup.
  • Publish OttoFMS builds after creation right from the builds ui in the console
  • Updates, improvements, and more info in the data api keys, admin api keys, webhooks, and clients tables in the console.
  • And more!

@kduval New log viewer search is cool/helpful

Not a massive fan of dark mode myself generally but I do miss the log files being white on black, is there a reason for the change, or can we switch?

And while we are on stuff, can we get at least a read-only view of the schedules?
Helpful to know what id they are so that I can trigger from a script (my project today)

The change was mostly to make it match whichever mode you were looking at the page with, so if you’re in dark mode its dark and if you’re in light mode its light. You could toggle the view in the top right to change it. I could look at a log level override maybe, although that gets a little weird.

I have no problem with it always being back, that is what it was…
Feels like a little terminal in the middle of the app
