OttoFMS License - Site

A question and a feature request, that stems from a weird scenario in my list of license keys. I have, for some unknown reason, 2 OttoFMS licenses under my personal account. The one I know, has 3 sites activated. The other unknown license key, has 5 site activations.

The thing is…

  • On the known license key: I know know what 2 of the site activations are for. I can make an assumption on the other one, no problem. And even remove the one site activation I can’t identify.
  • On the unknown license key: I have no idea what the 5 servers are. And no way to identify them. I don’t want to mess with these site activations since I have no idea where they came from.

Question:

  • Is there any other way to identify where these servers are, or any other identifiable info?

Feature Request:

  • Can you add an additional “friendly name” or “nickname” field for server activations? And have that flow back to the license key page?

Hey Josh,

Jumping to the end, I’ll discuss with Todd about the friendly name piece, sounds useful to me.

For the question about which license keys line up with which servers, send an email along to support@proofgeist.com with the license keys and we can map them to server ids for you. Mention me in that email so whoever sees it knows to pass it along to me.

I have the server ids. I just don’t know what the server is, or where it is. LOL

Ah ok, in that case there is not much we can do to map it, we only get the server ids back. I’ll look into a friendly name option.
