Send to another Server

Seems to not be able to work if you want to copy but rename a file to the same server.
Is this a limitation??
Obviously I can do this as a Deploy action…

It’s not really a limitation. It is technically possible. But the feature is called “Send files to another server”. I think if we make it work on the same server we make a new feature called “Duplicate Files”

“Duplicate Files” already exists on the OttoFMS web console.

I’m not sure I called it out a lot in the release, but (as Todd calls out), the OttoFMS rename functionality has the ability to copy a file locally now. just select the “Copy” option when doing your rename and it will make you a new copy.
