Style name instead of its identifier

Hello,

This is a really great tool and very useful, thank you. Would it be possible, instead of the object style ID, to have the name that was given to it during development? We have “Default” when no style is applied. So I think it should be possible to have the style name.
Thank you very much for this tool.

@Vincent Unfortunately, that data is not in the clipboard XML, only the identifier. The reason you see a nice, clean “Default” is that I told FMLayoutLens to return that when we are provided an empty string where the style ID should be.

You need a full DDR or SaXML export to get the style name. Sorry.

Hi Dave. Right. Is it possible to declare a work session in which we would integrate the theme via a complete XML? You would only keep the theme or what relates to it. I’m not sure what’s possible, but with FM Perception we can analyze things well.
Thank you very much for your response.

@Vincent It is theoretically possible, but it feels a little outside the goals for FMLayoutLens. A more likely answer would be the integration of FMLayoutLens-esque features into a future version of FMPerception itself.
