Unable to Access OttoFMS on Mac Server after updating to 4.11.0

I have ac client with a onsite FileMaker server running on a Mac Studio running FMS 21.1.1.40. Remote connection to this server is over Zero Tier 1 VPN. Everything works fine running OttoFMS 4.10.3, but after updating to 4.11.0 OttoDeploy and the OttoFMS web interface return a 500 error.

The server has a valid SSL cert installed. When remotely connecting via VPN I have a local hosts entry for the URL to point to the remote address IP provided by the VPN client.

Uninstalling OttoFMS and re-installing 4.10.3 and it works correctly. The release notes for 4.11.0 describe a change to Apple Silicone build, so it may be that some of the changes in this release that has caused this issue.

Hey Gabe,

Does upgrading to OttoFMS 4.11.1 fix it? There was a change to the Admin API Proxy that we added in 4.11.0 and rolled back in 4.11.1 which might have fixed this.

Thanks @kduval I’ll try that over the weekend.

Hey Gabe,

There may have been an issue with 4.11 that might have shown up as breaking stuff with a VPN. We just released 4.11.1 which fixed that issue. I am not positive it will solve your issue. But it is worth trying at some point.

Todd

@toddgeist and @kduval I’ve installed 4.11.1 and this issue is resolved. Thanks.
