Uploading images to an external folder in RC_Data_FMS

Hi I have a ton of imges we need to load into the external storage folder in RC_Data_FMS. is the possable in OTTO FMS, i have been navigating to the folder in Live Database and dragging the folders in, this is working to a point, OTTO keeps freezing, trid the upload button but thay only allows me to upload images not folders with images.we are version 4.10.3

Hey @malc8179 ,

If you have the access, uploading with a FTP client is probably going to work the best. The File Browser can do uploads, but we’ve not optimized it for transferring large quantities of files simultaneously like this. I can work on getting this working better in the future, but for now an FTP client is probably your best bet.

If you’re transferring the images from one server to another you could also transfer them using an OttoFMS deployment by selecting the “Include Container Data” option. This only works if you need all of the container data and it is already in use on a server.
